Hello, everyone!

Hi there~!
Hello.

Today I’d like to report on what we got done during the holiday break through the 23rd!

Mainly the English site and an application for an expo!
And at the end we’ve written out the schedule ahead.
📝【共通項目】Notes on the Project and Recent Activity
Originally I’d planned to start posting about the development of our 2D action game, but there were a few things I wanted to put on record, so I decided to begin with the RPG instead.
① Sharing the current state of development
② Introducing the content without spoiling anything
③ Anything else worth sharing
That sort of thing — I’ll write about whatever comes to mind!
🎮 Updating the Base of the English Official Site!

I mentioned I’d set myself the goal of getting a decent chunk of this done over the break, right?

Right, but why during the break? Having the free time is one reason, I’m sure, but…

Well, the thing is, my right-hand monitor has dozens of colored lines running along the bottom.

I put in a repair request, and the pickup is tomorrow, the 23rd.
That’s the only reason…? Well, two screens definitely does make the work go faster…

Plus I’m cancelling my trial subscription to an AI service called GenSpark tonight, so I wanted to get as far as I could while I still had it (laughs).

I see… so the timing just happened to line up?

It was the same with the English release — without AI translation, English support wouldn’t have happened at all.

Back-translating to check the Japanese takes a surprising amount of time, too.

I’m not a student anymore, so there’s no such thing as unlimited free time.
Weekends and holidays are all I’ve got. So it’s a case of “if not now, when?“
And the English site wasn’t the only task this week, was it.
- Building and updating the base of the English official site
- Applying for a free exhibit slot at INDIE Live Expo (deadline is the morning of 9/29)
- Smaller tasks like arranging the monitor pickup, posting actively during the Steam event, and prepping for it

A lot of work has piled up since I started on English support, so I figured sending the monitor in for repair was a good place to draw a line.

So from the 23rd, while the monitor’s being repaired, you won’t be doing much work.
Well, one screen is a bit rough… you’ve gotten used to two, so it’ll feel cramped.

By the way, it’s under a three-year warranty, and it was only a few months from expiring…

Anyway, enough about that — the English official site is now in good enough shape that once I start posting articles, it’ll be ready for people to see!
🎪 Applying for the INDIE Live Expo Broadcast on 12/1

I finished this one on 9/21!

It was our first time applying, and there were a lot of questions you wouldn’t see at Tokyo Game Show!
What’s different is where the organizers are putting their focus.
- There’s a question about whether you develop full-time or alongside another job (several items, answered with radio buttons)
- There are fields for what got you started and why, and for stories and behind-the-scenes moments from development
- There’s a field for what you’re struggling with in development or promotion

The video submissions had format requirements too — a 15-second version and a full trailer, plus three screenshots.

Put simply, it looks something like this.
- Ongoing: keeping up with posts on social media
- Until around early October?: waiting for the monitor repair to finish
- Early October ①: translating and adding the articles already posted to the English official site
- Early October ②: studying tools and building prototypes for the 2D action game

I usually work with classical music playing in the background, but…

Honestly, the list of classical pieces I want to introduce right now has grown to about ten (laughs).
We’ll be keeping at it, so we hope you’ll stick with us.
